WATER HEATER Requirements: • Include the number of milking cows served by the water heater(s) in Section 6 on the application.
• Water heater to supply hot water for dairy milk house use only (i.e. pipeline/bulk tank washings, other milking related cleaning needs). • Thermal efficiency must be 90% or greater (as rated by AHRI). Uniform Energy Factor must be 0.90 or greater for residential-type water heaters. • Make, model number, and size (gallons) must be included on the invoice.
