• Must replace an existing non-condensing unit heater or be installed instead of a non-condensing unit heater. • Provide a manufacturer’s specification sheet to document the features and efficiency level of the unit heater including input capacity in MBh. PACKAGED TERMINAL HEAT PUMPS (PTHP) Requirements:
• Unit must be AHRI listed as a Commercial PTHP. AHRI rated efficiency will be used to determine eligibility. • Must replace or be instead of a Packaged Terminal Air Conditioner (PTAC). Replacement of existing PTHP does NOT qualify.
• Window and through-the-wall air conditioners/heat pumps do not qualify. • The equipment size category (BTUh) is the cooling capacity value of the unit. Measure Description

DIRECT-FIRED MAKE-UP AIR UNITS (MAU) Requirements: • Rebate is available for upgrading from (or installing instead of) indirect fired make-up air units or rooftop units which are approximately 80% efficient. • Replacement of electric or hydronically heated make-up air is not eligible. • Replacement of a direct fired unit with a new direct fired unit is only eligible if the new unit is a variable air volume (VAV) unit replacing a constant air volume (CAV) unit. • Replacement of a variable air volume (VAV) make-up air unit is not eligible.
• Direct fired make-up air unit must serve an occupied space for at least 500 hours per year. • Variable air volume (VAV) make-up units (H10030 and H10445) are not eligible for VFD rebates. Measure Description Code Rebate
